Welcome to Inano Sabo, a charming cafe nestled in the heart of Kobe, Japan. Located at 808-1F Arimacho, Kita Ward, this serene spot offers an exquisite blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese cafe culture.

At Inano Sabo, the essence of Japanese tea culture is captured beautifully, with a menu that highlights delightful offerings such as their famous warm zenzai with red bean, mochi, and chestnut and the ever-popular honestly prepared warabi mochi. The former is a cozy, sweet experience, served hot alongside a fragrant cup of Hojicha, perfect for warming up during chilly days. Although one patron noted that the red bean soup could be a touch sweeter for their palate, the textures of the delicious rice cakes and the warm atmosphere more than made up for it.

As one reviewer described, Inano Sabo presents a quaint and calm atmosphere that allows guests to relax and linger longer than intended. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, and the soft lighting creates a peaceful ambiance that invites conversation or quiet reflection. Whether you’re indulging in their noteworthy shaved ice or savoring the rich taste of a freshly brewed green tea, customers find that every visit feels like a retreat from the bustling streets of Kobe.

Moreover, the meticulous attention to detail in the preparation of each dish shines through, as noted by a satisfied customer who adored the warabi mochi for its delightful texture that melts in your mouth. The thoughtful addition of toppings, such as kinako and wagashi syrup, enhances the experience, making it both unique and fulfilling.

Inano Sabo also takes a personal touch to service, greeting customers with warm hand towels that elevate your experience just before the ordered delicacies arrive. This fragrant touch adds warmth to the already inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect end to a day spent exploring nearby attractions such as the famous onsens.

In summary, Inano Sabo is not just another cafe; it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Japanese culture in a tranquil setting. Whether you’re stopping in to warm your spirits after a therapeutic soak or just savoring the quiet ambiance with a sweet treat, this cafe promises memorable moments and delightful flavors that stay with you long after you leave.

I had the warm zenzai with red bean, mochi, and chestnut. It came with Hojicha as well. I enjoyed the zenzai very much. The rice cakes were delicious. However, I think the red bean soup was too sweet! The atmosphere was quiet and felt expensive. I came at 4:30pm. Thank you~

The food and service was great. They gave us warm hand towels before we ordered. It was nice in the cold weather.

Quaint and calm atmosphere, here are how this tea shop/spot could be summarized. The provided service was top-notch (no English but the detailed menu will do the job). This spot is known for their motchi as well as green tea. Different set menu are offered: you can't go wrong with anyone of them. Great stop after your Onsen experience.
